Robert Hammond is Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of Friends of the High Line, the non-profit conservancy that manages the High Line, a public park built atop an abandoned, elevated rail line on the west side of Manhattan. Hammond was awarded a Rome Prize from the American Academy in Rome, as well as the Rockefeller Foundation’s Jane Jacobs Medal for New Ideas and Activism.

Jesse Israel ∣ Founder, The Big Quiet

An entrepreneur favoring experience-driven projects, Jesse Israel seeks to build connections between humans and improve notions of selfhood in an increasingly disconnected world. As founder of The Big Quiet, a series of mass-meditation sessions for modern people, Israel strives to help others ground themselves — mentally and emotionally — by disconnecting from technology, practicing a meditation rooted more in solace than spirituality.

James Tillman ∣ Singer-Songwriter

James Tillman is a singer-songwriter and producer from Washington, DC. With influences ranging from Nick Drake and Marvin Gaye to Stereolab and Azymuth, James' sound carries the spirit of soul, alternative and psychedelic music. On April 29, 2014 James  independently released his debut EP, Shangri La. Recorded in Sao Paulo Brazil, the EP boasted a classic soul sound and received favorable nods from blogs, critics and industry tastemakers, and James expanded his fanbase touring as an opening act for indie bands Tune-Yards and Wild Child. James is currently finishing up his first album.
